Sculpting tutorials

If you'd like to try your hand at sculpting, I can heartily recommend the following tutorials. Most of these are based on modeling polymer clay, but a few are geared to epoxy putty. The principles of modeling are basically the same and I would recommend trying both mediums to see if one suits you more than the other. I personally sculpt in both and frequently will make the original model 30% larger than the finished doll. I like to make a waste mold out of plaster and pour an intermediate doll in porcelain to refine the detail. This intermediate doll then becomes my master for making the finished doll mold.
